  • Developed a concept into an in-depth website with searchable database for third-party-vetted green and sustainable products and companies. Created a co-branded blog for which I solely produce, write, edit and publish.
  • Composed business plan which successfully received funding.
  • Formulate and execute business development within the company and externally in areas of co-branding, peer and competitor collaboration, mutually-beneficial partnerships, advertising and editorial content.
  • Actively utilize social media outlets, including twitter, facebook and LinkedIn for expansion of user and advertiser participation and reach, while liaising with local media and industry insiders to promote company and industry news, events and information.

    Founded successful multinational jewelry design and manufacture company with clients including Nordstrom, Fred Segal and Moondance Jewelry Gallery.

  • Designed and executed thousands of jewelry pieces over a seven-year period, while maintaining control over all aspects of the business.
  • Managed accounts payable and receivable; inventory; and all major retail clients (60+ in 2007 in the US, Bahamas and Haiti) as well as hundreds of individual clients in the US, Canada, Europe and Costa Rica.
  • Secured placement of line in popular showroom at the California Market Center in Los Angeles.
  • Pursued and achieved relationships with costume designers, placing my jewelry on cast members of ABC's October Road (2007) and Pretty Little Liars (2010) and STARZ's CRASH (2008).

    Co-branded one of the internet's first travelogues in conjunction with initiating and executing a year-long trip in a Land Cruiser throughout the Western United States, Baja California, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

  • Secured sponsorship for the trip from 17 different companies including Kumho tires, Coleman Outdoor Products and ACE Hardware.
  • Wrote, edited, coded and produced for sandcruiser.com.


  • October 1998 - October 1999, Content Producer, www.SignOnSanDiego.com (owned by San Diego Union-Tribune), San Diego, CA

    Promoted from Copy Editor at the San Diego Union-Tribune as one of four launch-team members for the internet's second online entertainment guide, contributing as a key player in this core content team that formulated the shape, face and voice of SignOnSanDiego.com.

  • Brainstormed, designed and created the shape, face and voice of this new medium.
  • Learned basic HTML and coded the majority of the first pages that went live.
  • Wrote and edited content across all sections: Restaurants, Hotels, Sports and Recreation and Nightlife.

    Other Interests
    I love tomatoes, dogs, yoga and running. I also enjoy rock climbing, camping, sailing, surfing, reading, working on cars, making things with my hands, cooking and baking.
